Sorting through literally everything we own, and preparing to give it away or sell it, we find ourselves experiencing a myriad of emotions. Recently the Lord brought this chorus to mind from an old 70’s song (Jensen/Hilton):
“Take it all. Just take it all.
What the world can offer me, take it all.
For one hundred years from now
It won’t matter anyhow.
What the world can offer me, take it all”
We’re grateful for the Lord’s frequent reminders that the things of this world will all perish, and pray that He will continue growing in us hearts that can watch all our possessions go and sing “Take it all”.
